After graduating from high school, she attended the University of Kansas for three years before moving to Seattle in 1945 upon marriage. She received her BA from the University of Washington.
After the birth of her first son, Paul, she moved to Phoenix where she lived from 1947 until 1963.
In 1960 she began her career with GM's Chevrolet Division. With a promotional opportunity, she moved to San Diego in 1963 and continued working until 1984.
She always loved swimming and diving and upon retirement, took up competitive photography with daytime and nighttime clubs in Balboa Park's Photo Arts Center. She was proud of the numerous awards she earned during her 20-plus years of participation. Patricia loved traveling and went to Europe numerous times along with traveling thoughout the Southwest and Northeast U.S. as part of her photography group.
Patricia is survived by her loving sons: Paul of Scottsdale, AZ and Michael of San Diego, along with numerous cousins, nephews and nieces throughout the U.S. She was a loving mother and friend to all.
