Born March 26, 1985, in Baltimore, he was the son of Douglas Dean and Theresa Anne Dyer Jackson.
He was a graduate student at the University of South Dakota, studying computer science. He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church and a devout Catholic. He played the trumpet and the flute. He attended Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio, for undergraduate studies and was a member of the student honor society Upfilon Pi Epsilon.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, is a brother, Ryan Vincent Jackson, of Richland, Wash.; and grandparents Thaddeus and Marilyn Jackson.
A funeral liturgy was held St Peter the Apostle Church with interment in the church cemetery.
