Services for Alva Julian (Jimmy) Workman, 65-year-old plumber and electrician, were held Tuesday at Allen Chapel Church. Bro. Robert Prichard and Bro. Roy Cross officiated.
Burial was in Bonham Cemetery.
Mr. Workman died Sunday at DeKalb General Hospital.
Surviving are his wife, Carrie L. Staley Workman; a son, Ray Workman of Adairsville, Ga.; a daughter, Mrs. Willene Stephens of Tampa, Fla., two stepdaughters, Mrs. Carl Houk of Smithville and Mrs. June Sheet of Virginia; a brother, Dana E. Workman of Georgia; five sisters, Mrs. Floy Loudermilk, Mrs. Getna Davis, and Mrs. Ella Jones, all of Georgia, Miss Hester Workman of Rainsville, Ala., and Mrs. Lillian Westbook of Chicago, Ill.; and six grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were Dan Staley, Dale Staley, Marvin Butcher, Grady Butcher, George LaFever and Richard Foster.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
