Many references to "Sally" when you search her husband and herself. I believe it is a nickname.

Hi, Judah is my 3rd great-aunt. She was married to James 15 Jul 1835 in Gibson Co. following the death of her sister, James' first wife, Sarah "Sally" Barrett. Sally is a very common nickname for Sarah. Sarah and Judah were the daughters of William Barrett and Lucinda Sanders from Chester Co., SC. According to a family bible James and Sarah J. Barrett married 8 Oct 1818 in Henry Co., TN.

Judah died in Gibson Co., not TN.

Judah never went by the name Sally on anything that I have found in my research. Sally would be his first wife Sarah. Sarah and Judah were sister of my 3rd great-grandfather Capt. Samuel G. Barrett. I have not found confirmation on the location of their parents burial.

I have done years of research on this family in Gibson Co. and inherited many records from my great grandmother.

Thanks for your consideration of these suggestions.
