Fred Calvin Sanders, 45, of 125 Woodlawn avenue, died yesterday afternoon at the Mercy hospital after an illness of three days of appendicitis.
The funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the residence by Rev. A. D. Wilcox, pastor of Trinity Methodist church. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery.
Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Torrence Sanders; one daughter, Miss Sarah Sanders; two brothers, J. P. and J. M. Sanders, of Bonlee, and three sisters, Mrs. F. P. Anderson, of Siler City, Mrs. W. H. Anderson, of Siler City, and Mrs. C. S. Cates, of Greensboro.
The deceased has been connected with the Southern railway for 23 years.
