Marriage records are available starting in 1878. The 1900 census of Chattahoochee County reports the couple had been married 31 years (so, if accurate, could've been married 1868 or 1869). The 1870 census shows the couple residing in Chattahoochee County with Wood's father, Henry KING; Wood is 33 and Alice is 21.
