MISS JANE COPLEY
Miss Jane Copley, daughter of the late Josiah and Mary Copley, died at Mt. Hermon, Cal., on Wednesday, August 3, according to word received here by relatives. Miss Copley was born at Appleby Manor, near Kittanning, Pa. While she was still a young woman, her family moved to Pittsburgh, and since that time she had been a resident here, until seven years ago when she went to California to reside with her niece, Mrs. Margaret Wade of Piedmont. Miss Copley's father was a well known religious writer, and she herself shortly before her death published a metrical version of the Biblical Psalms. She was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church here. She leaves one sister, Mrs. William Thaw of Pittsburgh. Her body is being brought to Pittsburgh where interment will be made in Allegheny Cemetery.
