Euphemie Schexnider Funeral services were held yesterday at 2 p.m. for Euphemie Schexnider, 78, who died on Monday, April 14 at 9:20 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette. Interment followed in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Church Point. She is survived by her five daughters, Mrs. Clement (Dura) Menard of Crowley; Mrs. Lydia Credeur of Carencro; Mrs. Wayne (Eva) Carruth of Port Acres, Texas; Mrs. O. M. (Louise) Leger, Jr. of Colorado Springs Air Force Academy and Mrs. Archie (Wilma) Thibodeaux of Lafayette. She is also survived by five sons, Bernard Richard of Sulphur; Philogene and Roosevelt Richard of Crowley; Huey Richard of LaRose and Louis Richard of Breaux Bridge; one sister, Mrs. Agnes Meaux of Rayne 31 grandchidren and 21 great-grandchildren. Gossen Funeral Home of Rayne was in charge of funeral arrangements.
