STAR, July 6,-Mrs. Mary Alice Priddy, 79, died Saturday in an Asheboro hospital. Surviving are the husband, J. T. Priddy; four daughters, Mrs. A.L. Mae of Star, Mrs. Fred Davis of Steeds, Mrs. P.A. Stutts of Asheboro and Mrs. Robert Joyce of Stoneville; two sons, Ernest of Asheboro and Matt Priddy of Carthage; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. J.W. Bondurant of Star. Funeral was conducted at 3 p.m. today at White Oak Primitive Baptist Church near Star by Elders J.A. Fagg and D. P. Broadwater. Burial was in the church cemetery.
