John J. Ahern, 80,a long-time resident of Wheaton, died Tuesday, April 6, in Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield. Mr. Ahern was a retired letter carrier for the Wheaton Post Office. Visitation is from 2:30 PM Thursday, April 8, at Williams-Kamp Funeral Home, 430 E Roosevelt Rd, Wheaton. Funeral blessing will be at 10 am Friday, April 9, at St. Michael's Church, Wheaton. Interment is at St. Michael's Cemetery, Wheaton. He is survived by his brother, Edward (Margaret); his nephews, Michael, James and Edward J Jr.; his nieces, Marypat Kelly and Joanne Garvey; and three grand-nephews and -nieces.
