A service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Kemp Church of Christ, Kemp, for Mary Lee (Blankenship) Allen, 82, Durant, who died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma. Bro. Tom Adams will officiate.

She was born Wednesday, June 13, 1923, in Mabank, Texas, to Charlie and Etta Lee Boehme. She married Edjuel Allen, Jan. 15, 1982, in Durant. She was a homemaker, member of the Kemp Church of Christ, attended the Calera Church of Christ after moving to Durant, and she loved to travel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Ernest Blankenship; sister Isabelle Taylor; brothers Otto Boehme, Hoil Sutton, Alvin Boehme and Lum Boehme.

She is survived by her husband of the home; daughters Treva Traylor and husband Tommy of Dallas, Texas, Patsy Schindler and husband James of Denison, Texas; sons Jerry Blankenship and wife Sandy of Frisco, Texas, Moe Blankenship and wife Paulette of Hendrix; stepdaughter Francis Sadler and husband Jack of Broken Arrow; stepsons Don Allen and wife Frankie of Hendrix, Stan Allen and wife Darla of New Castle; brother Marvin Boehme of Mabank; sister Foy Readon of Edgewood, Texas; grandchildren Margie Filzgerld of Frisco, Terri Creel of Madesonville, Michael Schindler of Denison; and four great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at Kemp Cemetery with L.C. Wesberry, Michael Schindler, James Blankenship and Gary Weger as pallbearers.
