Mrs. Dean died Sept. 5.
A native of Tennessee, she lived in Alabama most of her life in Talladega and was a member of Talladega Church of Christ. She was a retired co-owner of Deans Taxi Service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Dean and two sons, Bobby and Jerry Dean.
She is survived by three daughters, Jean Hawkins and Betty Kirkpatrick, both of Tyler, Texas, and Peggy Kurtz of Houston, Texas; two sons, Benny Dean of Talladega and Danny Dean of Tyler, Texas; one brother, William McCain of Southside; one sister, Ruth Coker of Ashville; 17 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Kearley, Edward Knodel, Cecil Parks, Frank Thomas, Larry Horn and Roy Hollingsworth.
Usrey Funeral Home will direct the service.
