Robert Martin "Bob" Simpson, 83, was a son of William O. and Elma B. Martin Simpson. He married Donna C. Robitske on September 15, 1946 in Bloomington, Illinois. She survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son in infancy and three brothers.
Also surviving are three children, Robert (Carol A.) Simpson, Rick N. (Marilyn) Simpson and Sue (Ron) Litherland, 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
