Alice Hart Adams of Corvallis died Tuesday at Regent Court Assisted Living Center. She was 95.
She was born in Philomath to Silas and Edna Rae Harmon Hart and raised on the family farm in the Westwood community. She married Edward Adams Jan. 1, 1924, in Philomath. He died Aug. 30, 1975. They lived in Philomath for many years before moving to Corvallis. She was a homemaker and later worked for McGregor's in Corvallis.

She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in Philomath. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, handiwork, camping and fishing.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Robert M. Schneider of Corvallis, Tom Adams and Jack Adams, both of Philomath, Judy Thompson of Lincoln City, and Greg and Tony Adams, both of Lebanon; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Margaret Kruger of Corvallis and Betty Pliska of Gresham. She was preceded in death by her son, Ivan; daughter, Jacqueline Schneider; brothers, Gale and Dan Hart; and sisters, Helene Hunt and Doris Schroyer.

A service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at McHenry Funeral Home. Pastor Bill Seagren will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Willamette Memorial Park Mausoleum in Albany.
