Private 523465 Albert Jacques, Labour Corps was the son of John Frances Jacques and Mary Ann Jacques nee Harrison. He died of tuberculosis aged 37 leaving wife Agnes Jacques nee Johnson and children Charles, Harry, Alfred, Agnes and Annie and was laid to rest at Bodmin Old Cemetery.

Albert was entitled to be awarded British WW1 medals, and following the war his family would have been sent the Memorial Death Plaque of WW1.

Commemorated in perpetuity by Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

Albert was entitled to be awarded the British War and Victory medals.
