Monday evening at a Livermore, Ca. hospital, will be 12 o'clock Friday at
Summers Chapel, with the Rev. I.Q. Wood, All Saints Episcopal Church, and Placer
Lodge No. 3, AF&AM officiating. Interment will follow at Placerville at 3 P.M.
He was born Oct. 3, 1881 in Oregon. He moved to Placerville with his parents
when he was an infant. He spent his entire life in the Placerville area until
two years ago when he moved to Boise and later to Livermore, Ca. to live with a
niece, Mrs. Grace V. Link. He had spent most of his life in the mining and
lumbering industry and served as a Boise County representative in the Idaho
state legislature for several terms. He was a member of the Episcopal church,
Scottish Rite Bodies of the Valley of Boise, El Korah Temple of the Shrine, was
a 50 yrs. honorary member and a past master of Placer Lodge No. 3, AF&AM.
Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Grace V. Link, Livermore; and a nephew, Donald
E. Shackelford, Albany, Or.
Members of the family suggest that persons wishing to do so may make
