"Wanda Carlene Strange"
"COPPERAS COVE Services for Wanda Carlene Strange, 62, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Dodson-Sneed Funeral Home in Lampasas with Larue Caraway officiating.
Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
Ms. Strange died Dec. 20, 2003, at an Austin hospital.
She was born Nov. 15, 1941 in Lampasas to Leonard Carl Burns and Margie Leona Parsons.
Ms. Strange grew up in Lampasas and attended nursing school in Paris. She later returned to Central Texas were she worked at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple and later at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen. She retired from nursing in 1995. Ms. Strange enjoyed doing crafts.
Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn McPherson of Harker Heights and Rachell Caraway of Garden City, Ala.; a son, Jimmy Dale Strange of Temple; a sister, Patricia Probst of Lampasas; two brothers, Alton Moore of Key West, Fla. and Kenny Moore of San Francisco, Calif.; and her mother.
The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home."
