He is buried with his first and second wives (Elizabeth Kerchner and Catharine Hare). Henry's tombstone lists his death year as 1882, although his obituaries show he died in 1883.

The York Gazette (PA) reported on April 3, 1883 on page 3:
STEWARTSTOWN, PA., March 30, 1883
Editor's Gazette - Mr. Henry Hedrick, of Beckleysville, Baltimore county, Maryland, died March 24th, aged 87 years, 6 months and 18 days. He was married twice and was the father of ten children by each wife. He left 58 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was buried at Shrewsbury, on Sunday the 25th of March.

The York Gazette (PA) reported on March 27, 1883 on page 2:
"Mr. Henry Hetrick, a farmer, resident of Shrewsbury, died at the residence of his son, in Beckleysville, Baltimore Co., Md., on Friday evening last, aged about 78 years. His remains were brought to this place on yesterday last for interment. On Saturday last, about 24 hours after the death of Henry, his brother, Jacob Hetrick, living in Stewartstown, this county, died, aged about 70 years. His funeral will take place in Stewartstown today."
