For many years he was employed by the Service Supply Co. and for five years, until his recent illness, he resided in Allentown. Since his illness he resided with his son in Emmaus. He was a member of the Bethel Mennonite Brethren in Christ Church, Allentown.
Born in Northampton county, he was a son of the late Issac and Sallie, nee Heffelfinger, Wentz.
Surviving are his wife, Lizzie J., nee Yale, Wentz; four sons, Albert I. Wentz, George T. Wentz, Randolph Y. Wentz, all of Emmaus, Paul I. Wentz, Allentown; one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Brensinger of Walnutport.
Funeral serrvices will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Ritter and Bushby funeral home, N. 6th St, Allentown. Internment will be in the Fairview cemetery, Slatington. The Rev. B. Bryan Musselman will officiate. Friends may call Tuesday from 7-9 p.m."
