Mr. Barnes died Dec. 8. He was the son of the late Vinson and Josephine Parker Barnes.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Verona Pack Barnes of Smithville; three sons Clarence Barnes of Murfreesboro, Jack Barnes of Smithville and James Barnes of Tullahoma; three daughters, Mrs. Clara Hutchinson of Murfreesbbro, Mrs. Barbara Young and Mrs, Magdalene Cantrell of Smithville; two brothers, Solon and Luther Barnes of Smithville; four sisters, Mrs. Annie Lee Parsley, Mrs. Ella Carter, Mrs. Janie Carter and Mrs. Lorene Tramel of Smithville; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one
great-great-grandchild.
Serving as pallbearers were Mike Barnes, Steve Hutchings, Jim Hutchings, Tim Cantrell, Mark Cantrell, Scott Barnes, Tommy Barnes and Barry Young.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
