Robert Moskow, merchant, of 406 South Beach Ave., died unexpectedly at the Medical College Hospital Wednesday morning, May 26, 1965, after a period of declining health.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in Andrews Chapel, Mayer Funeral Home. Cantor Sherman and the Rev. George Fields Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in the Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Moskow, son of the late Shmuel Labe Moskow and the late Mrs. Kayla Dinyeh Kroik Moskow, was born in Bobr, Russia on Sept. 17, 1892. He came to Andrews in 1907 and had operated a merchantile establishment since that time. He was very active in Andrews community affairs and was a member of Synagogue Beth Or in Kingstree. In July Mr. and Mrs. Moskow would have celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary.
Surviving are: his widow, Mrs. Eva Cox Moskow of Andrews; two sons, Jerome Moskow of Andrews and Herbert Moskow of Charleston; two daughters, Mrs. L. C. (Mildred) Sloan of Georgetown and Mrs. Vernon (Nomie) Rowell of Andrews; eight grandchildren, a brother, Hyman Moskow of Whiteville, NC and several nephews and nieces.
