Alta M. Liles Zimmerman

Alta M. Liles Zimmerman went to be with the Lord on September 25, 2010, in her home in Seymour, Mo., after a long illness. She was born to Ernest and Eva Johnson in Sterling, Mo., on June 24, 1924. She was united in marriage to George E. Liles on November 7, 1941. To this marriage was born a son, Lloyd and four daughters, Bonnie Woods, of Fordland, Patsy Moss, of Nixa, Judy Hilmes, of Smithville and Terri Lindsey, of Springfield. She was united again in marriage to George H. Zimmerman on June 17, 1995.

Preceded in death by her mother; father; first husband; son; and granddaughter, Angela Liles.
Survivors include four daughters; four sons-in-law; one daughter-in-law; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; husband of the home, George H. Zimmerman; step children; step-grandchildren; and step-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home on Monday, September 27, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 28, at 1 p.m., in the funeral home with Reverend Danny Chisholm officiating. Burial to follow in Galloway Cemetery.
