Anna Redman was born in the year 1809 (we are still attempting to locate the exact date of her birth, as well as the place) in New York to John 2nd Redman and Polly Soules (?) Redman.

She married Samuel Childs and they lived their married lives in and about Monroe County, New York. Their marriage was blessed with seven children. Their children were: Elsie Jane (married Nelson Cooper), David, Addison G., Rhoda (never married), Samuel, Abigail R (married Lewis Reynolds Maxon), and Mary A (married 1- Henry Fuller and 2- Ruel Knowles).

Anna died on the 16th of December in 1894 while living with her son and family in Parma, Monroe County, New York. She is buried by her husband Samuel and daughter Rhoda in Parma Union Cemetery.

Note: Some records give Anna's maiden name as Redmond rather than Redman.
