MALTA-Mrs. Rose Veenker, 81, of 207 N. Third St., Malta, died Jan. 25 at Pine Acres Retirement Center in DeKalb.
Mrs. Veenker was born Oct. 2, 1891, in South Grove Township, the daughter of Thomas and Hannah Smedley Kempson. She was graduated from Northern Illinois State Tech. College, DeKalb, and taught elementary schools in DeKalb County and Batavia.
She was married to George F. Veenker F. Geneva on Jan. 28, 1918, and he preceded her in death in 1959. She was also preceded by her- Thu, Jan 25, 1973)
