Co-Pilot of B-26C Marauder #42-107725.

Shot down by anti-aircraft fire, two miles
north of Bitche, France, while on a raid from
Dijon to the target of Camp de Bitche.

Seven crew members were killed.
One survived by parachuting and was taken as
a POW.
