Lois married Wesley Kenneth Shone on Jun. 07, 1936. They had one daughter: Nancy Jane Shone (m.Eugene Arthur Kelly, on Jul. 21, 1956). Lois was the daughter of Oliver and Fredericka Blackburn. Her fraternal twin sister Louise Blackburn Mello died in 1992 in Hemet and is buried with her husband George in Hemet. The last 10 years of her life, Lois lived with her daughter Nancy, in Alhambra, CA. She was the much loved grandmother of Robert, Paul, David, and Steven and great-grandmother of Leah, Joshua, and Jason; she missed knowing Matthew by 4 months.
