Russell Arthur Piper, age 93, of Beecher, IL passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Provena Heritage Village in Kankakee.
Mr. Piper was born on December 17, 1916 in Peotone, IL to the late Clarence and Alvina (Klipp) Piper.
He married the late Harriet (Kappe) Piper in 1938. She passed away in 1956. He married the late Elda (Ruder) Sheming Piper in 1963. She passed away in 2004. He is also preceded in death by 3 brothers; Richard, Stanley, and Ervin Piper.
He was a retired farmer. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Beecher, an avid sports fan participating in most of them. He pitched softball for many years.
