FUNERAL HERE AT OLD HOME
Body of S. E. Carmichael Will Arrive
Tomorrow-Wife Sick and Unable to Come
for Final Services

A brief news item in the Telephone of Thursday announced the death of S. E. Carmichael, a brother-in-law of Mrs. W. T. Breeden, and the body is to come here tomorrow morning via the Illinois Central from Lauderdale, Florida, where the death occurred after a long illness.

For years Mr. Carmichael was one of the best known and most substantial residents of this city, a man who stood for all that was good, and he had a large local acquaintance. Some 10 years ago Mr. and Mrs. Carmichael moved to Lake Hamilton, Florida, and later to Lauderdale, and both have been quite ill for some time-so much so that Mrs. Carmichael is not able to accompany the body to the old home.

There is one son, Frank, a daughter, Mrs. Theodore Willis of Vincennes, and two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Riddle and Mrs. Mollie Yoho of Bloomfield, Mrs. W. T. Breeden, South College, is a sister-in-law.

Mr. Carmichael was a devoted Methodist and also much interested in fraternal organizations, being a Mason, an Odd Fellow and a Knight of Pythias. His business was that of a real estate dealer
