Jesse L. Kensinger, 87, Brodheadsville, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010, at home.

He was the loving father of Kathy Corby and husband, Robert, of Sciota and Thomas and wife, Betty, of Hughesville; and the brother of Ruth Eichelberger of Saxton and Virginia Robb of Huntington. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Barbara Spearko, William Bruce, Lisa Walburn and Julie Kensinger; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Edrie (Kehoe) Kensinger.

Jesse was an engineer at Bell Telephone in Altoona and Harrisburg for many years until retiring. He was a WWII U.S. Army veteran.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 10 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, at Gower Funeral Home, Gilbert (www.gowerfuneralhome.com). A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady Queen of Peace, Gilbert. Interment will be at Buena Vista Cemetery, Brodheadsville.
