Charles L. Pratt, 79, of Turnpike Road died Friday at Auburn Memorial Hospital.

A native of Auburn, Mr. Pratt was a life resident of the Auburn area. He retired as a supervisor after 20 years with the Newark Developmental Center. Mr. Pratt also was the owner and operator for many years of a dairy farm in Aurelius.

Mr. Pratt was a veteran of World War II and had served in the National Guard.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Fosterville Methodist Church, the Rev. Duk Won officiating. Burial will be in Throopsville Rural Cemetery , Throop.

Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 48 South St.

Contributions may be made to the Rosemary Pratt Scholarship Fund at Union Springs High School or the Fosterville United Methodist Church.
