BRANDON, VT. - Beulah Agnes (Wright) Magoon, age 89, of Brandon, passed away on Tuesday, August 28th 2018 at the Centers for Living & Rehabilitation in Bennington, Vt.

She was born on July 3rd 1929 in Moriah, N.Y., she was the daughter of Guy Eben and Sarah Maria (O'Neil) Wright.

She graduated from Moriah High School.

Following graduation, she began work with the Internal Revenue Service in Albany, N.Y.

On December 6th 1948, she married Willard Magoon and moved to Stowe, Vt. where she helped on the Family Farm.

In Middlebury, Vt., she worked as a Nurse's Aide at the Porter Nursing Home and afterwards did Private Duty Nursing for several area families.

Mrs. Magoon was a member of Middlebury Volunteer Ambulance.

She volunteered as an Addison County Court child advocate, where she received an award in 2006 for her service. She had also received several awards for her volunteer service and was recognized by Gov. James Douglas.

She was predeceased by her husband in 1971, three children; Ryan, Linda, and Sarah Magoon, three brothers; Guy, Bob, and Bill Wright, and six sisters; Marguerite, Alice, Thelma, Gertrude, Carmen, and Elizabeth.

Arrangements by the Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home on 26 Franklin Street in Brandon, Vt.

Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Riverbank Cemetery in Stowe, Vt.
