He was retired after 26 years service at Navel Ordinance in Louisville.
Survivors include his wife, Ester Bezy; three sons, Joseph, Tony and Mark, all of New Albany; three daughters, Mary Ann Bezy, Helen Schad, both of New Albany, and Elizabeth McLerran of Ohio; two brothers, Gilbert Bezy of Borden, and Bernard Bezy of New Mexico; four sisters, Mary Jane Ott of Georgetown, Rita Boylan of California, and Joan Urlich of Floyds Knobs, and Diedria Hopper of Louisville.
Memorial services were held this morning at St. Mary's of the Knobs Catholic Church. The body was cremated.
