In the "Bloomfield Democrat" weekly newspaper dated Jan. 25, 1884. "DRESDEN DOINGS - In other items of interest, E.F. Page, a well known resident of this place died on last Thursday, at the residence of Jacob Ashcraft. He was 81 years of age and had been a resident of Dresden for 23 years, at which place he worked at his trade, shoemaking, until the last three years of his life which he spent with his son-in-law."
