Harry E. Rose, 81, of 237 Philadelphia St., Donaldson, died Monday morning at his home.
A native of, Donaldson, son of the late Isaac and Lydia Clouser Rose, he was a retired miner.
Mr. Rose was a member of United Church of Christ, Donaldson, and the UMWA.
Surviving are his wife, the former Agnes Betz; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Jones, Donaldson; Mrs. Dorothy Davis, Chambersburg; one sister, Mrs. Catherine Hoke, Donaldson; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Thursday morning from Stewart Dreisigacker Funeral Home, Tower City. The Rev. F. L. Hemmig, of Tremont Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment in Donaldson Community Cemetery.
