Mary Jane Cruz, 84, passed away Monday at Manorcare, Kingston.
Mary was born in Bayonne, N.J., on Dec. 24, 1922, daughter of the late Joseph and Lena Loguidice Russo.
She was a 1940 graduate of Bayonne High School. She was formerly employed as a telephone operator and later worker for United Pants, West Pittston.
Surviving are her husband, Sebastian Cruz, Kingston; daughters, Rosann Murray, Edwardsville; Diane Romani, Wilkes-Barre; brothers Joseph and Lawrence Russo; sisters, Rose Reynolds, Madeline Rand and Theresa Dinkel; stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 from Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains Township. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas. Friends may call Friday, 6 to 8 p.m.
Mary was the mother of my dearest girlfriends. Her warmth and giving spirit will always be remembered.
