Earlene Allred, 84, was a 38- year resident of Atascadero. Born in Missouri, her family settled in Kingman, Ariz., where her son Edward was born. The family moved to Glendale, Calif., where her other three children, Linville, Rives and Gene, were born.

Earlene moved to Atascadero to her son Edward's "Rolling A" ranch. While in Atascadero, she served as president of the Business and Professional Women's Club, Republican Women's Club and many other organizations. She commentated at many fashion shows.

She is survived by her four children, Edward Allred, Eugene Allred, Linville Allred and Rives Allred Wiggins; daughters-in-law, Charmay Allred and Peggy Allred; son- in-law Ronald Wiggins; grandchildren, Joey, Jimmy and Edward Contreras, Ryan, Jason, Kyle, Sheila and Lance Allred; and great-grandchildren Joey, Santiago, Avery and Ellery.

Her husband, Linville Allred, preceded Earlene in death in 1970.

She was a talented life force and will be loved and missed by all forever.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006, at Chapel of the Roses, followed by a committal at Atascadero District Cemetery.
