Wanda Jane Quesenberry Edmonds, 76, of Blacksburg, Va., died on Thursday, September 23, 2010, at her home. She was born in Carroll County, Va., on August 21, 1934, to the late Theodore Roosevelt and Thelma Edith Quesenberry. Her childhood fantasies included teaching; her adult realities included teaching 37 years in Carroll, Wythe, Montgomery, Madison, Clarke, Grensville, and Giles Counties combined. She is survived by her husband, William J. Edmonds; daughter, Susan Lynn Edmonds Carver; son, David Warren Edmonds; sisters, Shirley Q. Price, and Ava D. Quesenberry; and brothers, Walton W. Quesenberry, and Jerry S. Quesenberry. Graveside Services will be conducted 3 p.m. on Monday, September 27, 2010, in the Westview Cemetery with Dr. Don McKinney and the Rev. Vinton Harley Quesenberry officiating. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg, Va., 540-552-3211.
