Mrs. Stroup Called Home

Services for Mrs. Adah Stroup, 78, will be held at the Memorial Drive Methodist Church Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. by Rev. R.L. Baker and Rev. I.H. Estes.

Mrs. Stroup died about 4:45 a.m. Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hugh Leeman, Decatur 3. Her body will be taken to the home this afternoon and will remain there until time for the rites.

Burial in city cemetery will be directed by Brown's.

Surviving Mrs. Stroup are her daughter, Mrs. Leeman and a brother, Walter Stephenson of Moulton. Also surviving is a grandson, Robert Hugh Leeman, Decatur 3.

Born in Lawrence County, Mrs. Stroup spent most of her life there. She is the widow of A.R. Stroup, who died in November 1947.

Pallbearers will include: Robert Leeman, Cecil Sparkman, Lee Dendy, Kyle Martin, Ferrell Martin and Claude McRight.
