Thelma Pate Jester Wild, 93, of San Francisco, Calif., formerly of Bonicord, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2001 at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in San Francisco. She was a retired employee of the federal government.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Miller's Chapel Church of Christ with Oscar Bruce officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Friendship Funeral Home.
Survivors include a son, Guy E. Jester of St. Louis; four grandchildren, Dr. Mark Jester of Rome, Ga., Robin Jester of Ventura, Calif., Elaine Carey of Baltimore, Md. and Guy Lee Jester of Knoxville; and three great-grandchildren, Christopher Jester and Michelle Jester, both of Rome, Ga. and Alexxis Jester of Knoxville.
Pallbearers will be Mark Jester, Guy Lee Jester, Christopher Jester, Scotty Nash, Bill Neal and Don Reel.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to Miller's Chapel Church of Christ.
