Mrs. Alberta C. Jensen, 67, of Seattle, the first white woman born in Custer community here, died at her home Thursday. Mrs. Jensen was a practical nurse. She attended secondary school in Ferndale and lived in Eatonville from 1917 until 1942, when she moved to Seattle. Mrs.Jensen was a member of the Nazarene Church. She leaves two sons, Sterling of Seattle and Claire of Portland; three daughters, Mrs. Galen Kauffman and Mrs. Sterling Martin, both of Seattle, and Mrs. Sal Saavedra of Alameda, CA, three sisters, Mrs John McGhee of Everett, Mrs. John Purnell of Vancouver, BC and Mrs. Claude Maston of Costa Mesa, CA: a brother, Victor Aitken of Goldendale; and 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
