DOUGLAS - Funeral services for George N. LeBar, 70, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Congregational United Church of Christ in Douglas with Dr. Thomas E. Hartshorn officiating. Burial will be in the Douglas Park Cemetery.

Mr. LeBar died on March 13, 1989, at the LeBar ranch near Ardmore, S.D., of an apparent heart attack. He was born on Jan. 3, 1919, the son of Wyoming pioneers Paul C. and Georgia C. (Doyle) LeBar at Douglas where he was reared and educated, graduating from Converse County High School.

He owned and operated ranches in Converse County, Wyo.; Sioux County, Neb.; and Fall River County, S.D. Mr. LeBar had many out-of-state business associates. He enjoyed fishing and working.

In 1974 he married Georgene Hager at Little Moon Lake, near Henry, Neb.

He is survived by his wife of Douglas, one sister, Mrs. Ralph (Winona) Brown of Casper; and two grandsons, Pierre C. and George M. LeBar, both of Perth West Australia.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Barney "Paul" LeBar; and a daughter, Susan "Suzie" LeBar.

Memorials to the American Heart Association or to a charity of the donor's choice would be equally appreciated by the family.

Family and friends may call at the Converse Funeral Chapel Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Friday from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
