LORAINE, TX -- Bill Austin Mayo, 17, died Sunday August 11, 2002 in an automobile accident in Mitchell County. Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday August 14, 2002 in the First Baptist Church in Loraine with Reverend Bryan Waddell officiating.Music was by his uncle John Arthur Mayo of Channing Tx. Burial followed in the Loraine Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Bill was born March 21, 1985 in Snyder, TX to Kelley and Nancy Carey Mayo and had lived in Mitchell County all of his life. He would have been a senior at Colorado High School this year. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Colorado City.
He is survived by his parents, Kelley and Nancy Mayo of Loraine; a brother, John Byrant Mayo and his wife, Nikki Magana, of Temple tx; four nephews, Collin Mayo, Jason Mayo, Colton Mayo and Colton Magana, all of Temple.And two uncle's. John Arthur Mayo an wife Paula Jane of Channing Tx. Richard Gregory Mayo an wife Paula Kay of Oklahoma City OK.
