Mr Mishler was born in Benton township, April 28, 1853, the son of George and Susan Mishler.
His wife, Sarah Rummel Mishler, died April 23, 1927.
Mr Mishler was a member of the Trinity Baptist church.
Surviving in addition to the daughter at whose home he died are another daughter, Mrs Mervin Wise, of New Paris; one son, Oliver Mishler, of near Nappanee, seven grandchildren, one great grandchild; a brother, Levi Mishler, of Southwest; and three sisters, Mrs Sarah Kirkdorfer and Mrs Enos Detweiler, both of Goshen; and Mrs Mary Saylor, of near Goshen.
Funeral services were held from the Union Center church Saturday afternoon at two o'clock and burial made in the adjoining cemetery.
