Mrs. Marilyn Cagle Armstrong, age 80 of Conyers, a retired sales associate with Haverty's Furniture, died Wednesday, September 22, 2010.

She is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Armstrong, Conyers; sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Carol Armstrong, Marietta, Steve and Sandra Armstrong, Marietta; brothers and sisters-in-law, Willard and Beverly Cagle, Suwanee, Lamar and Barbara Cagle, McDonough, Doug Cagle, Peachtree City; grandchildren, Catherine Armstrong, Jennifer Armstrong, Ashley and Joshua Thompson, Courtney Armstrong; nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Armstrong was a member of Heritage Hills Baptist Church and an avid bridge player. She graduated from Brown High School in 1948. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Scot Ward's Harry White Chapel with Pastor Joe Hughes officiating; interment will be Monday, September 27, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton.
