RINGGOLD - Bruce Edward Sanders, 68, passed away Friday, Jan.4, 2002 at a local nursing home.

A resident of the North Georgia area for the past 25 years, he was formerly of West Palm Beach, Fla., and served in the U.S. Army. He was a former employee of RC Cola and a member of the VFW, American Legion and the DAV.

He was preceded in death by parents, Herman and Marie Sanders; first wife, Jean Brock Sanders; second wife, Ruby Lee Tate Sanders; brothers Herman Jabe and Waring Ruhl Sanders.

He is survived by four stepdaughters, Barbara Martin and Dorothy Bunch, both of Ringgold, Delietha Bass and Ola Hudson, both of Signal Mountain, TN.; stepsons: Arvin Bass of Ringgold, Bobby Bass of Signal Mountain and Tim Bass of Chatanooga; three brothers, Fred L. Sanders of Yulee, FL, James E. Sanders of Ft. Oglethorpe and William R. Sanders of Newburgh, IN; a niece, Theresa Johnson; five nephews: Robert Sanders; Robert L. Sanders; Michael T. Sanders; Wesley Sanders, and Christopher Sanders. several grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 1p.m. Monday at Anderson Memorial Gardens in Ringgold, GA. The family will recieve friends after 5p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to cancer research.
