Margaret Knotts Lucas, 83, our "Grannie" died October 21, 1994 from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Born March 19, 1911 in Eureka, Utah to Daniel and Lucy May Packard Knotts.
Married John Brandt.
He preceded her in death in 1936.
Married John T. Lucas.
He preceded her in death in 1990.
Margaret was a member of the Catholic Church and the Lady Elks, and was also a former resident of Eureka, Utah.
Survivors: children, Patricia Brown and husband Gareld, West Valley City; Michael A. Lucas and wife Patti, Santa Rosa, California; Daniel J. Lucas and wife Diana, Sandy; Robert Thornley and wife Cheri, Carefree, Arizona; 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Wanda Knotts, Deloris Robinson, Madge Burraston.
Preceded in death by a grandson, Paul Daniel Lucas; son, Richard John Brandt.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, October 25, 1994, at 11 a.m. in St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church, 4914 South 2200 West, West Valley City.
Prayer vigil and recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Monday, October 24, 1994 at 7 p.m. in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State, Midvale.
Visitation at the mortuary on Monday will be from 7:30-9 p.m.
Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
The family expresses special thanks to the doctors, nurses and caregivers who gave freely of their talents in caring for Grannie.
