PLATTE CITY, MO.-The funeral for Mrs. Maude Lee Witt Jacks, 91, Kansas City, Mo. will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Platte City Christian Church. Burial will be in Platte City Cemetery.
She died Tuesday in a Smithville hospital. She was a lifelong Kansas City area resident. Mrs. Jacks was a member of the Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, Judge Jacks of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothea Hanks of the home, and Mrs.Bernice Edlin, Platte City; a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today at the Hanks Chapel, Smithville.

Maude Jacks
Jacks-Witt Wedding. (Platte County Argus). Married, August 27, 1907, at 8 p. m., Cleveland Jacks and Miss Maude Witt. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Lee Harrell at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Witt, near Hampton. Mr. Jacks is a worthy young man and a son of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Jacks. Both families are widely known and these young people have a host of friends and well-wishers. Clarence Jacks and Miss Nannie Ferrell were the attendants. A wedding supper was served after the ceremony. Besides the local friends present, Mrs. E. L. Winn of Kansas City and Mrs. S. G. Beatty of Calloa [sic] attended the wedding.
