Fred Koseck, 88, of Livingston, died at his home on Tuesday morning, March 30, 2010. Cremation has taken place at Franzen Davis Crematory. Graveside committal and burial will be at 2 p.m., Monday April 5th at Park View Memorial Gardens, south of Livingston, with Pastor Steve Paugh Leuzinger officiating.
Fred was born on February 15, 1922, in Livingston, the son of Fred Koseck Sr. and Fannie (Ruscheck) Koseck. He attended rural schools. On August 2, 1950, Fred and his wife Josephine were married in Cody, Wyoming. Throughout the years, he worked at various jobs, including training horses and selling them in California and Nevada, where many were used as polo horses. He also worked in ranching, guiding and more recently, in construction.
Survivors include several cousins, including Anna Rose Adams and Barbara Vanervort, both of Livingston and Merle Adams of Bozeman and a great neighbor and friends, Karen Coates of Livingston.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Koseck Sr. and Fannie (Ruscheck) Koseck, wife Josephine, brother Carl Koseck and sister Margaret Larson.
