DEATH OF ANOTHER PIONEER

Frank Gronlund, another pioneer resident of this county, died at his home in Sebeka Saturday night, about ten o'clock. Deceased came to this country from Finland about thirty-two years ago, taking up a homestead in Red Eye township, where the family resided continuously until a few years ago, when Mr. and Mrs. Gronlund moved to this village to live. He was nearly seventy-nine years of age at the time of his death.
Deceased was one of the hardy pioneers and he and his family experienced the hardships and privatations that is the usual lot of pioneers, but overcame these obstacles and provided a good home for his family.
Funeral services were held at the Finnish Church in Paddock township Wednesday afternoon and interment was made in the cemetery by that church.
