AMBROSE BARNES, 76, NATIVE OF BEDFORD, IS CALLED BY DEATH

EVERETT--Ambrose D. Barnes, 76, a native of Mann Township, Bedford County, died Saturday in Cumberland, Md. He was a son of John and Lyda (Jay) Barnes and was born in Bedford County on March 25, 1864.

Surviving are his widow, Arie E. (Shaffer) Barnes; two children, Mrs. Harry Roland, Hollidaysburg and Virgil M. Barnes, Cumberland, Md.; two brothers, David Barnes, Inglesmith, Pa., and Dorsey Barnes, Roaring Spring, and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Howser, Rainsburg.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning in the Pine Grove Christian Church by Rev. Walter M. Twigg. Interment will be in the church cemetery under the direction of D.S. Gump & Son, Everett morticians.
